Remiss in posting

A friend of mine wrote something beautiful that he said I can incorporate into my website or wherever I would like to post it.
He is a wonderful writer and a collector of my paintings and this is what he said:
"Susan seems to have a talent for capturing in lush colour these moments at either end of the spectrum where things are emerging out of nothingness or disappearing back into it.  Her paintings are a reminder that solidness and stability don't exist; that much that seems permanent is in fact evanescent; that is is in fact wise to catch the incredible beauty of the vanishing or emerging moment.

Rather than casting her vote for realism or abstractionism, Susan's paintings catch abstraction coalescing into form and form dissolving back into the squander of shade and colour."

Wow!!!  I was so honoured to have my paintings described this way and it makes me realize how unique everyone's perspective is and that my only job is to paint what I love.

I hope that everyone is well during this difficult isolation time
and that we come out the other side of this with more refined viewpoints.

Hello - I love to paint from my intuition and from nature.  I love texture and colour and the abstraction of shapes and images.
