Good morning - day two of Arts and Industry Open House at Rock Bay Square.  

Last night many people ventured out on the wet and rainy evening to come
and see all the artists studios.

Today come and visit from noon-4 p.m.  There are over 20 artists involved from coffee beans, furniture, jewellery and many other fine artists.  Stop by for visual treats for the senses.

Just a quick reminder that Nurture and Nature...Susan Geddes and Flora Doehler is still on at ARCAC in Annapolis Royal in the Chapel Gallery.
We have several paintings on display until November 23.  Please stop by and drop us and note and have a look. 

Yesterday I was thinking about painting the process that I love so much. 
I was in my studio on Thursday and I completely removed all of the paintings from the walls and filled all of the holes and rehung the space to be more
"gallery like".  We are having an Open House on November 21 and 22 at Rock Bay Square in Victoria and I want to put my best face forward.  Normally my studio is a working studio and it is messy and filled with canvasses in process.  
I will tidy it up for the upcoming event and while I was doing that I got some ideas for some new paintings plus I decided to release a couple of older pieces.  It is important to know when to let a piece go and to not be to attached
to what has been created.

This week I will continue the creative journey and see where the muse takes me.  Happy painting to all those artists out there.
